Abstract:
Luohanba reservoir, located in the center of the Wumengshan Nature Reserve, is an important water source protection area with high biodiversity. To analyzed the diversity of algae, water samples from the Luohanba Reservoir were collected and observed by microscope. The results showed that the diversity of algal plant communities in the Luohanba Reservoir was notable, including 6 phylum, 26 families, 62 genera, and 204 species (including varieties). According to the statistical analysis of species and individual numbers of algae, the water body of the Luohanba Reservoir is poor nutrient-based water and a clean water body. The results fill in the shortage of algae resources research in this area and provide reliable data and theoretical basis for water ecological environment protection and water quality monitoring in this area.
