Abstract:
With the increasing demand for organic volatile gas detection technology in the market, metal semiconductor gas sensor has attracted wide attention due to its characteristics of low operating temperature, good cycle stability, short response and recovery time. Tungsten trioxide (WO
3), as a typical n-type metal semiconductor gas sensitive material, has been widely paid attention to in the field of detecting various toxic and harmful substances due to its special gas sensitive properties. The structure and morphology of the sensor material, the exposed crystal surface, the introduction of metal oxides and precious metal ions play a key role in improving the gas sensitive properties of the material. This paper introduces the application of WO
3 gas sensor materials to various gases, points out the difficult problems in the research process of WO
3 gas sensor, and looks forward to its future development direction.
