Abstract:
To analyze the key aroma compounds in cigar tobacco leaves, simultaneous distillation extraction (SDE) and solid-phase microextraction (SPME) methods were used to extract the aroma compounds. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry/olfactory coupling technology (GC-MS/O) and aroma vitality value (OAV) technology were used to determine the aroma quality of cigar tobacco leaves, and were validated through aroma recombination experiments. The results showed that: ① Two extraction methods obtained a total of 75 aroma substances, including alcohols, aldehydes, esters, acids, hydrocarbons, heterocycles, and other types. ② The cigar tobacco extract obtained by SDE method mainly reflected floral and fruity aroma, while the cigar tobacco extract obtained by SPME method mainly exhibited fruity aroma. ③ The combination of GC-MS/O and OAV techniques can effectively determine the key aroma compounds in cigar tobacco leaves. Based on the above analysis results, conducting cigarette flavoring experiments with aroma recombinants can demonstrate the characteristic flavor of cigars and significantly improve the sensory quality of cigarettes.
