Abstract: The aim of this paper is to study r-wide semigroups with multiplicative weakly type A transversal. We establish the structure of r-wide semigroups with a multiplicative weakly type A transversal. The result of this paper is that the corresponding conclusions in regular semigroups and abundant semigroups are promoted to r-wide semigroups. It lays a foundation for further study of the poperies, structure and characterization of the congruences on this kind of semigroups.
