Abstract:
Deep eutectic solvents are binary and ternary system composed of hydrogen bond donors (polyols, urea, and carboxylic acids) and hydrogen bond acceptors (quaternary ammonium salts, such as choline chloride), which main advantages are green and environmentally friendly, low toxicity, and even non-toxic. They can replace traditional organic solvents as dispersants and extractants to extract target analytes from different samples, with strong extraction ability and low matrix impact. This article summarized the research progress in the application of deep eutectic solvents in the extraction and separation pre-treatment of pollutants and natural products in recent years, and introduced the types, preparation, and application scope of DES, in order to provide reference for future research directions of deep eutectic solvent.
