Abstract: The chemical constituents——lignans of Dysosma versipellis were studied and eight known compounds were isolated.The structures of these eight compounds were identified respectively as(1)podophyllotoxin;(2)dehydropodophyllotoxin;(3)4′-demethylpodophyllotoxin;(4)4′-demethyldehydropodophyllotoxin;(5)isopicropodophyllone;(6)isodiphyllin;(7)L-picropodophillotoxin4-O-(β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside);(8)Lpicropodphillotoxin4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside,based on the spectral data and comparison with the data reported in literatures.
