Abstract:
By variety of chromatographies over various materials, twelve non-alkaloid compounds, including 4-hydroxy-4-(5-(hydroxymethyl)furan-2-yl)butan-2-one (1),(E)-4-5-(hydroxymethyl) furan-2-ylbut-3-en-2-one (2),5-hydroxymethyl furfural (3),(E)-3-carboxy-2-petene-dioate 5-methyl ester (4),(Z)-3-carboxy-2-petenedioate 5-methyl ester (5),(E)-p-hydroxycinnamic acid (6),(Z)-p-hydroxycinnamic acid (7),methyl veratrate (8),epoxyconiferyl alcohol (9),p-tyrosol (10),phillygenin (11) and β-sitosteryl-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside-2'-O-palmitate (12),were isolated from the roots of Aconitum stapfianum for the first time.Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods.Compound 1 is a new natural product, and its full NMR spectral assignments were accomplished by 2D NMR for the first time.
