Abstract:
Endophytic fungi and arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi can develop symbiosis with most of the terrestrial plants, in which host plants provide fungi with nutrients, and fungi effectively promote the growth of host plants and enhance the stress resistance. In recent years, the importance of protecting host plants from biotic and abiotic stresses have been concerned. The effects of endophytic fungi and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi on host plants under abiotic stresses were reviewed from the aspect of endophytic fungi and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi improving the adaptability of plants to adversity, which would provide comprehensive and updated information in this field.
