风廓线雷达与云雷达融合反演大气垂直速度方法研究

A Study on Atmospheric Vertical Velocity Retrieval Through Fusion of Wind Profiler and Cloud Radar Data

  • 摘要: 本文提出了一种基于风廓线雷达与毫米波云雷达数据融合的大气垂直速度反演方法,旨在解决降水天气下水凝物回波对风廓线雷达风场反演的干扰问题. 通过谱分离与谱识别技术,结合两种雷达的观测特性,分离湍流回波与降水粒子回波,有效提取大气垂直速度信息. 实验结果表明,该方法在弱降水条件下能够显著降低水凝物干扰,优于传统双峰法,为复杂天气条件下的大气垂直运动观测提供了可靠的技术支持.

     

    Abstract: This paper presents a method for retrieving atmospheric vertical velocity based on the fusion of wind profile radar and millimeter-wave cloud radar data, aiming to address the interference issue of hydrometeor echoes on wind field retrieval from wind profile radar during precipitation events. By employing spectral separation and identification techniques, combined with the observational characteristics of both radars, the method separates turbulence echoes from precipitation particle echoes, effectively extracting atmospheric vertical velocity information. Experimental results show that under weak precipitation conditions, this method can significantly reduce hydrometeor interference and outperforms traditional dual-peak methods. This provides reliable technical support for observing atmospheric vertical motion under complex weather conditions.
