Abstract:
In order to seek for novel compounds from Chukrasia tabularis, twigs and leaves of C.tabularis were extracted with 95% methanol, which was then suspended in water and extracted with petroleum ether,EtOAc,successively. The petroleum ether part was extensively separated over a whole series of silica gel, macroporous resin,RP-18 and HPLC to afford five compounds. These compounds were elucidated by extensive analyses of spectroscopic analysis(MS,NMR,etc.) and were finally determined as 6-deoxy-9-hydroxycedrodorin(I),xyloccensin K(Ⅱ),methyl 8-hydroxy-8,30-dihydro-angolensate(Ⅲ),sapelin E acetate(IV),16-dehydroxy-23-hydroxymeliasenin F(V),which were all isolated from genus Chukrasia for the first time.
