Abstract:
The chemical constituents from serenoa serrulata fruit and their anti-prostatitis activity were studied. The extracts from serenoa serrulata fruit were isolated and purified by silica gel and Sephadex LH-20. Twenty-six compounds were isolated and identified from serenoa serrulata fruit. And their structures were identified according to physicochemical properties and spectral data. The antiprostatitis activity of the compound was tested. The results showed that compounds triterpenoster, scopoletin, cannabispiran, 1, 3, 7-trihydroxy-6-methyl-anthraquinone, podophyllotoxin, vanillil and isopropylidenkirenol showed certain anti-prostatitis activity. All compounds were isolated from serenoa serrulata fruit for the first time.
